New to Garage Journal, I recently acquired an old wagon that someone was throwing away! I want to get to know more about it. I couldn’t let it go to the dump. If you’ve seen or heard anything about it let me know, having a hard time finding info on it. IMG_7995.jpg

I'm sorry to not be able to add to your knowledge base here, but I definitely get wanting to save that, It does have that desirable "Vintage Vibe" about it for sure! It also seems pretty complete and not beaten much, if at all. Please Keep us in the loop. Thanx for sharing, and "Welcome to the Insanity", anybody that shows up here with a Cool Project usually gets a pretty warm welcome! :bounce: :rocker: Harry

Thank you, Monza Harry! Yeah it is very clean with the exception of some surface rust. No dents at all. Thanks for the response!

I know nothing of this particular brand. I do have a collection of pedal cars.

You might take measurements and pics of the lettering and graphics, and where they are on the wagon, before you go to a strip-down for paint.

Based upon the prop-plane graphics, I'm thinking 1940's-early 1950's, I suspect anything later than that, the planes would be jets.

On second thought, maybe you better wait to do that stripping, until you find-out more about that. It could be the 'holy-grail' of pull-carts!

Interesting, I have yet to find a similar one with those plane graphics. So I’ll have to keep digging! I’m not sure if I am going to restore it. I might just leave it as is with the exception of the loose rust chips inside. Thanks for the response, Driftpin!

Too preserve I usually just rub with light oil. Rubbing gets the loose stuff off and the oil keeps it from rusting thru hopefully.

I think the experts will advise some sort of boiled linseed oil treatment. But I have no experience with that so let them tell it.
