I noted in a earlier thread a couple of weeks ago, that I had borrowed a 5000 lb set from a neighbor, I was impressed. They did everything I expected and more. A little tough to get moving till all the casters are pointed in the same direction, but other than that, they work great
Everyone pointed out the much cheaper OTC hydraulic units, and the price certainly is a draw, but the simplicity of a ratchet jack over the potential of a leaking, non repairable hydraulic unit ten years from now, really makes me wonder.
I've had a lot of expenses suddenly so I'll put them off till at least August. I told the neighbor I borrowed from I would buy a set, I don't like repeat borrowing, and even his wife (wonderful lady with a sense of humor) remarked, "why buy a set when you can come over here and borrow them?", and she meant it.
