GO-JO dispenser

Does anyone still use one like this? Got this today at the sale and the guy said I could have it if I got it off the wall. It looks like it was on the wall empty for 20 years as the remnants turned into a thick molasses. Im thinking of trying simple green to break it up clean it and put this in my garage. Are there refills for these or do I fill the empty can or am I out of luck?

Man that thing is cool. I'm not much help in actually answering your question, I'd guess you're probably out of luck on finding more cans like that.

If I were you I'd clean it up and refill it from the regular plastic jugs of gojo or fast orange.

They don't package gojo like that anymore. Your going to have to refill it. Not a big deal. Nice find though. Nostalgic.

Looks like a powder dispenser, clean it out and fill it with WORX powdered hand cleaner! That thing is awesome.

That is cool! I would just give it a good cleaning and then try refilling it out of a plastic tub of GOJO. Should work just fine.

If it were mine, I'd clean it up nicely, and then try some sort of thickened soap like the Zep orange hand cleaner or something similar. I bet that type of soap would flow nicely through that apparatus!

I will try the cream type and hope it works as I don't have a water supply in my garage to mix the powder into cream once dispersed on my hands. And with winter almost here the spigot in the yard will be shut down soon. Its too bad as the powder really works great.

We used to have one like that at the shop. It was a creme type refill. you would replace the whole canister when refilling it. I'm not sure the grit stuff would work in it.

the soap or cleaning cream inside the plastic container could easily be poured inside that cool metal container you found and probably used without water for light clean ups.

Thanks for the input and pictures, I will fill it when cleaned with the cream and BTW those benches are so great. I have been looking for something exactly like that with the drawers for awhile now. Damn, so cool you got them, Im drooling over them.

Don't use the grit type cream hand cleaner, we had one of them at my last job, we would just dump the brand that they got, would pump most anything until the grit stopped it up, one of the Mech took it down and threw it away after that.
