so now that its not -35 outside,we got to do some work.three walls up on friday.floor now has 3 cracks in it
. that might have had something to do with that whole -35 thing.still *****.the walls didnt look that tall till we stood them up! If the weather holds, we should be able to set up the two stub walls on the west side on monday and start setting trusses.
sheating should go on as soon as we get a few of them set.will post more as it progresses.the rest if the info is the same.50x80x16.with a 8" floor.one change I did make was to NOT put foam under the slab.Iwas warned that because of the weight of the trucks, tractors, ect that it might not be a good idea.that and due to cost.there will not be any floor heat.I guess time will tell.3 people doors. a row of 4 windows on the south wall for light. a 10x10 door on the south wall.a 14x20 door on the east wall. a window in the cave and one in the paint booth.not sure if that was a good idea or not.and two windows above where the workbench will go on the north wall.
