so now that its not -35 outside,we got to do some work.three walls up on friday.floor now has 3 cracks in it:( . that might have had something to do with that whole -35 thing.still *****.the walls didnt look that tall till we stood them up! If the weather holds, we should be able to set up the two stub walls on the west side on monday and start setting trusses.:bounce: sheating should go on as soon as we get a few of them set.will post more as it progresses.the rest if the info is the same.50x80x16.with a 8" floor.one change I did make was to NOT put foam under the slab.Iwas warned that because of the weight of the trucks, tractors, ect that it might not be a good idea.that and due to cost.there will not be any floor heat.I guess time will tell.3 people doors. a row of 4 windows on the south wall for light. a 10x10 door on the south wall.a 14x20 door on the east wall. a window in the cave and one in the paint booth.not sure if that was a good idea or not.and two windows above where the workbench will go on the north wall.

lol ya that is a man sized snow blower. 12 ft tall at the top of the rotor.8000 hp.5ft deep. ya it will move some snow.we use it to clear the tracks when the smaller blade type wont cut it.I think I'm one of three engineers quallifyed to run it in in my terminal.man is it fun.I think I have some pics of us down on the hettinger sub last winter. If I can find them I'll post them too.

Ugh.... I couldn't imagine having to work outside in those kinds of temps. But I guess once you get going it wouldn't be too bad. I mean I enjoy skiing and I've done that in below zero temps. Coldest ski trip ever was to Big Sky in your neck of the woods (well in your state) about 10 years ago... it was -10 one day at the base of the mountain.
