Has anyone used this opener for opening the garage door upon arrival?

Never heard of it.

For the life of me I cannot understand why one would want to open ANY door remotely. nor why one would connect a device to the WWW that could then open your home or garage OR allow monitoring.

But im funny that way.

I saw on 60 Minutes where 2 guys in a van with a laptop, hacked the WiFi of the house in which they were parked in front of and the unlocked the WiFi connected front door lock, disabled the security cameras, and were then able to walk right into the house. Scary.
