hey guys, I am going to start putting up my LP smart Siding this weekend and some guidance. I understand about the expansion rates, clearances, flashing and priming fresh cuts. The question is about the nails. I have a full box of Double Dipped Galvanized Nails from MAzeNails for cement siding. It is a 15 degree nail that works with my gun. The diameter is .092 x 2.5" length. I am worried about the length. I only have 1/2 sheathing and then the thickness of the siding itself. You think the nails are to long?? It would be a shame if I cant use them but I aint screwing around.
