I just replaced the rear urethane leaf spring bushings on our new second-hand EzGo golf cart. The kit did not include any washers. Do I need to add some fender washers? And how tight should the nylock nuts be?

The nylock nuts should be tight enough to prevent lateral movement but not so tight to prevent articulation of the suspension components. I'm not sure of the spec, but you'll have to feel out hat is tight enough vs binding. You'll know it when you press down on the cart rear end and it doesn't rebound back to its original position.

Thanks, I ran the shackles in hard but not too hard to fully seat the bushings, then backed off to let the collars recover, then tightened the nylocks to where there's just a "kiss" touch between the shackles and the collars. I might try to rig up a panhard rod somehow, since the shackle bolts are not welded to one shackle those bushings take a lot of abuse.
