There are a couple other brands in the same quality as stabila but I can't remember the names right now. I have about ten stabila levels and love them. A tough level that is always dead on accurate. They may be expensive but they are worth it.

Beleave it or not but HD sells a 24" digital level that is amazingly accurate. The guys use one at the shop to pre- level the machine bases before getting out the machinest level. When it reads zero it is! $50, also has a swing out laser.

36 I say, but what is it that you're leveling? and why doesn't the 10" work? I had an 18, which was fine (sometimes too big) for most of my leveling. Then I had to build a deck and bought a 6' level for obvious reasons.

Stabila makes a 30 or 32 inch that I use all the time. Its made for door jambs. Its the perfect size for lots of things.
