The wind blew over a pick up box I had standing on end and put a fist sized dent in the bed rail. It's going to take a stud welder to fix it because there's no way to get a dolly or spoon behind the dent short of drilling out all the spotwelds. The Harbor freight stud welder doesnt sound like it's anything to brag on especially if welding 3mm studs. Any thoughts on an alternative gun thats reasonably priced? If push comes to shove I could cut out and get a small donor inner box section and seam seal it in place. I don't see any good way of welding in a patch that's not going to rust because theres really no access to prep the weld.Any Thoughts? I'd add photos from my iphone
but I don't know how

Bought from Eastwood. The upper brand ones they have look like the name brand ones. I'm not saying they are but they look like it. That was about 7 years ago

I have used the heck out of my HF stud welder. Never had any problems with it. Best of all they are cheap.

H&S Auto Shot/Stinger is what I have always had. Post a picture if you can. Glue pulling is the new craze and may be a viable option.
