good buy or no?

at the swap me last weekend i picked up 2 of these clamps for $15. they arent forged but at $15 i couldnt pass them up.. both are good condition a bit dirty but the action is smooth and there isnt and damage.

Are they 6" inch clamps, or 14"? Or one of each? Good, American clamps are easy to come by really. I wouldn't have paid so much for two 6" inch clamps. If one, or both, are 14" clamps, then that's much more reasonable, seeing how sizes that large are far less common.

Not a great deal for old cast clamps, but no doubt a lot better than what you can buy for the same money new.

If you need them then you did ok because in new condition your $14.00 dollars would not have gone very far in todays dollars. Sometimes I get lucky and pick them up on the cheap and other times people think they are sitting on a gold mine, kind of like hit or miss.

Keep on the lookout and you will find all kinds of deals.

I usually pick up old USA made c-clamps for under $5 each when that small.

alright, so maybe not the deal of the century but not robed.. either way i needed them and everyone was asking millions of dollars for china stuff. so im happy.

^^^Agree!! And you probably needed them sooner rather then later.
