good buy or no?

at the swap me last weekend i picked up 2 of these clamps for $15. they arent forged but at $15 i couldnt pass them up.. both are good condition a bit dirty but the action is smooth and there isnt and damage.

Are they 6" inch clamps, or 14"? Or one of each? Good, American clamps are easy to come by really. I wouldn't have paid so much for two 6" inch clamps. If one, or both, are 14" clamps, then that's much more reasonable, seeing how sizes that large are far less common.

If you need them then you did ok because in new condition your $14.00 dollars would not have gone very far in todays dollars. Sometimes I get lucky and pick them up on the cheap and other times people think they are sitting on a gold mine, kind of like hit or miss.

Keep on the lookout and you will find all kinds of deals.

That's an auction. At .99 plus 9.95 shipping, that's 10.94 for Chinese junk. That would be 21.88 for 2, assuming no one bids them up. Thanks for the hot tip.

That isn't a deal....it is a waste of ten bucks.

To the OP, you didn't do bad at $ 7.50 a piece. Much better quality than that Hobart.
