Believe it or not, but the HF 5 HP/60 gallon unit is made in the US by Bel Aire and features an Italian pump and Mexican motor. (not much Chinese).
It has consistently good reviews.
I guess it depends on what you are actually doing. You can find a 5HP that makes 14-15 CFM or one that makes 17-18 CFM.
If you are using mostly impacts, you may even get by with a single stage. If you are sanding or painting, you probably want to step up. Be glad to work with you on pricing on any of these below. We sell several brands, but BelAire has a good selection for what you may be looking for. Went small to larger for the links. Let me know if you have any questions and good luck in your search

That's a little tough since it will really depend on the size of the nozzle opening. At the very least, you might take a look at the 418V. It is a slow turning cast iron pump and puts out 18 CFM. If you want something that is a good bit bigger and really quiet (I got to hear it run and was amazed at the lack of noise) check out the RCP-7581VSC2. It has a 10HP pump turning at 600 RPM, so it just chugs along, but it makes 27CFM.Do not mean to hijack, but what compressor would you recommend for a home garage using a sand blast cabinet (quieter would be a plus)?
