Good day.
I am from the deepest, darkest Africa. Joking I am from South Africa. I have been in industrial maintenance and process engineering field for 35 years. from PLC's, pneumatics, hydraulics, instrumentation, fitting turning, production process etc.
I generally get called in to streamline plants and the process both on production and equipment side.
I have worked in the paper, food, white goods, tire, wood, metal, glass etc. industries.
I look forward to meeting people and gaining knowledge from them on this forum.
Every day you learn something is a gain in life.

Welcome, Wayne......my last 14 years as a full time employee were doing basically the same things at a frozen dough plant. Retired now but working part time as a college professor....

Wayne: this is a great place to learn and i try to learn something new daily and far surpass it just on this forum. sounds like you already know a fair bit so hope to see a few posts on threads where you are sharing your wisdom. of course if you read a thread and have questions now that you are a member you can post and ask and maybe get a good quick answer.

Thanks for all the kind support, yup I am also a tool addict, Unfortunately here tools are hellish expensive.
I buy as I can and when I can, sometimes even the beer money suffers, I believe that is supposed to be a sign you have a problem.
Hey no foul not problem, right????

Julway: it might be a problem deciding between buying beer and a tool, but not to me because i'll buy a great old tool rather than eat that day if i had to make a choice.
