good deal on snap on box?

I found a unused snap on 40th anny mustang box on craigslist and the seller said he would take 3500. it is a matching roll cab top chest combo. it looks to be in immaculate condition. he claims a tool has never been inside it.

also claims that he paid over 12,000 for it new. can anyone shine light on this?

Thats a great deal. If I were looking for a box like that and had the money I would not even be asking here. I'd be owning it by new. And I am a cheap SOB. In orlando.....right?

Thats what I was thinking. I like Ford and all, especially the mustang, but those graphics aren't doing it for me...

It looks like KRL 791/722 and it does list for $10k+.

Some of the graphics can be removed with a heat gun. The emblems can also be removed but you'll have holes where they are attached.

You better hurry and get it!!!

It's set up this way so that you can get screwed and have no protection or recourse through ebay. This is a total SCAM. Do you think anyone in their right mind would sell that box listed for $1700?

I agree. It looks like someone hijacked this guy's Ebay account. He sells tons of cell phone and computer accessories out of CA and looks legit but now there's all sorts of high end stuff in FL and it all has the same BIN of $1700 via his email. (he also listed most auctions at 3 days)

The box is a krl722. I'm surprised how many people don't care for the decals. I think they look awesome.

The box has no tools in it. That is a lay in that came with the box. It does come with trays and draw liners tho.

I can't wait to pick it up
