good deal or not?

Hi guys....gotta a chance to pick up my first Snap on tools. I have been looking for some ever since joining this site but here in my neck of the woods used Snap on are hard to come by and if you do,they want an arm and a leg for them.

Came across an ad for a Snap on box & tools for sale....I asked if he was willing to sell some tools separately and he said yes.

All the tools are SAE, I would love to buy some metric too but I have enough metric Craftsman and Mastercraft and my old car is SAE so that is what I will be using!

So here's a pic of the bounty....hope the pic shows! $300 for the lot...deal or no deal?

Seems like a decent deal to me. Negotiate the price of course!

If you don't want the Craftsman 3/8" speeder, with the black crank handle (upper right of the picture), you could sell it here or ebay. I'm seen them sell for $60 +, often around $100. Selling that alone would help offset some of your costs.

Decent deal if the wrenches are a set or a set missing a few. Bad deal if they are just random wrenches and duplicates.

the wrenches are mainly sets that are missing one or two pieces. All pieces are Snap on except for a five piece Mac set...they are USA Mac and the Craftsman speeder ratchet. Oh and the door hinge alignment tools...they are Kent Moore...

Yeah, that craftsman speeder is worth a good amount. I'd pay $300 and ell the silly craftsman thingy for $75-100 on ebay.

to me that seems a little high considering they are fairly old stuff with a fair amount of abuse and being as random as it looks.

you could probably get 2 decent sized snap on flank drive wrench sets on here for that $300
