Good deal?

Saw this on craigslist. They want $250 for both boxes (snap on and craftsman) and including the tools (mostly craftsman), it seems like a great deal but I have no idea what the snap on box is worth, so I have no idea how good of a deal it really is. All i know about it is that it has 3 drawers and a compartment on top. Anybody know the model number or what the snap on box is worth?

Thanks.

I would say that is a pretty good deal. Not sure about your craigslist but around me anything that says tool box isn't less than 500-1000 bucks.

Thanks for all your input. I didn't end up pulling the trigger as I don't really need it (which probably isn't a good enough reason for most here ).

I most likely would have re-sold most of the tools and the craftsman box, and didn't want to bother unless it's a "can't pass up" kind of a deal.

I think you could probably sell the top box alone for $200 pretty easily. Bottom for 50 to "god knows how high if you get the right local craftsman junkie". Gotta be a couple hundred worth of tools in there.

If looking to make a profit it might not be worth the effort, but surely there is 3-400 worth of total value there sold in pieces or sets.
