I just had to share this since I had been nervous about getting a repair kit through Grainger for my Proto ratchet based on posts I'd seen about Grainger giving people a hard time.
I had no problem at all. Part was in stock. Clerk was helpful. I was out the door with my new kit in 5 minutes.
The only thing that makes me kind of chuckle is that the new kit has no identification marks on the backing plate to show that it is Proto or the model number. There is no ID on the ratchet itself, so if I used the whole kit, I'd have an unbranded tool. I'm planning on using my old Proto Professional plate on the ratchet so that I can remember the model number if I ever need to get a new kit.
