Is there a reason you want an online source ? Most locations will have shops that can make them up to order. When I lived in NH the local automotive parts store had a full machine shop on site and they had the capability to make up any size hose with any style ends.

I made hydraulic lines frequently at NAPA using Weatherhead fittings and hoses. Quick, easy, cheap. And customers liked being able to make new lines whatever size they wanted, even on a weekend.

I buy hoses at Tractor supply Co or my local john deere dealer. Both have been completely satisfactory for my uses though the Deere dealer is a lot more expensive due to custom lengths and fittings. What specs are you concerned about that requires higher quality than just off the shelf hydraulic hose?

Check your local yellow pages for Parker hydraulics

"ParkerStore" (all one word with a capital S in the middle) they are exclusively Parker Hannifin but are privately owned franchises. Usually well stocked.

ParkerStore national website and store locater

I don't have anything to do with them other then being a satisfied (though poorer) customer. None of it is cheap, be prepared for sticker shock, but that is everywhere.

Not sure how much you can save buying online or how much hose you need. Keep in mind how much hydraulic fluid costs if you blow a hose off on top of the time lost and possible safety issues. If you buy some cheap commy knockoff you do run some risks. Pick your battles but I like to keep my systems clean and reliable.

Thanks everyone for the replies. I need 26' of 3/8 hose and a local place quoted me 149.99. Yikes!

Parker Hannifin is one of my clients i audit for. They are a leading manufacturer in the hydraulic hose department. My clients would be happy to see so many people commenting on their company.

That's about $5.75 per foot. But does that include installed ends, taxes and shipping? 26' of hose is going to be heavy enough that shipping charges will be fairly high.

And with having hoses made at a local shop, they will be ready in very little time. The local hydraulic shop we deal with can make a complete hose in just a few minutes if they are not real busy.

Maybe not a good comparison as my company buys thousands of feet of custom hoses a year, but I checked our price for a 25', SAE100R, 3/8", 3000psi Parker hose, and it was under $31. Maybe you won't get that big a break, but I think you could do way better than $150! We use an independent distributor that operates out of a small shop.

NO shipping just NY sales tax plus the fittings
