I picked up a Handler 140 yesterday missing a gun & regulator. I don't have an immediate need for it, need to buy bottle(s) anyway and so on. I'm coming from a HF 90 flux welder (which I plan to keep for the short term at least)

What I would like is a regulator or two (if I get more than one kind of gas) that won't break the bank but also won't ****. I don't have unrealistic expectations of getting something for nothing, but if I can spend less than what the most expensive ones cost and still get a good one, then I will.

I have no issue spending the money to get quality. I just don't know what the range is, and there are so many search results with any combination of 'mig welder regulator gage' that searching wasn't worth much.

i believe my miller came with a smith brand regulator and when i had my hobart machine, i just purchased a hobart branded one #770198 but i think you have to provide your own hose section for it if i remember correctly. cyberweld also carries pretty complete lines of several brands

the smith regulator is listed under the spec box on the right http://www.millerwelds.com/pdf/spec_sheets/DC12-54.pdf

hobart regulators are down the page a bit
