**** happens everywhere. I am not sure if we are just getting part of the story here, but there are bosses out there who probably do the world a lot of good if they went for a walk and never came back or even made it home for that matter! Some people are just a waste of natural resources.
Do yourself a favor and make yourself more valuable to yourself and the working world. Improve your skills and learn whenever given the opportunity. So long as this isn't indentured servitude you signed up for, you can leave when you've had enough. There are wheels under tool boxes for a reason. If you are stuck in a situation for now, so be it. But when the time comes, you can walk away, there are plenty of good employers out there who will appreciate skilled hard working employees. On the other hand, if you are the typical, average warm body with a pulse, well, you get the idea.
