I just contacted snap on about refinishing my wrenches because all chrom was worn off from working at studebaker, international harvester, and others that are from the 50s and 60s and they said they were still under warranty and would replace them and ship old ones back and new ones at their expense. now who else would do that?

The nice thing about snap-on is their quality has improved in most cases. Lets hope it continues to.

I think they just give you new ones... I have never had them refinish or fix anything when you mail them in....

I guess I misread the part that said they would ship your original wrenches back.

I think he meant SO will pay for shipping his old wrenches to SO, along with shipping the new wrenches to him... (i.e. paying shipping both ways), so he doesn't have to pay anything out of pocket.
