Back in 2007, I purchased a Timbren SES (Suspension Enhancement System) for my Xterra. Basically it is a set of rubber springs which replace the factory bump-stops. It worked great for my needs. Anyway, the kit came with some rubber spacers which were not needed for my installation. The spacers are made from a high durometer rubber that is really tough.
One day I realized these spacers are a perfect fit for use as a pad on my floor jack. I have been using the pad shown in the photo for close to 15 years and it shows no real signs of tearing or wearing out. I've regularly used this directly on pinch seams, spring brackets and many other "sharp and pointy" lift points.
These spacers are sold individually at many places such as Summit Racing for around $15
