And don't buy any of the Harbor Freight sandpaper. I bought a couple of paks for my orbital sander and it is pure junk. How can the Chinese screw up sandpaper!!

TRY a place called LeHigh valley abrasives there prices seem just and they carry sheet paper and sanding discs. They pretty much have any and every abrasive that you are gonna need.

Try ebay. One time I got 5 boxes of Mirka 100 pack 5" inch disks that came with a new 3m pad for $50.

I have had really good luck with Indasa and Mirka paper in 80 grit. In finer grits in my opinion 3m is the only way to go. The grit in 3m paper is much more uniform than the others.

Also another tip for you, if you clog up the paper take a worn out hacksaw blade and slap the paper while its on the sander and it will unclog the paper.

It's like sand stuck on a paper towel.

Klingspors is always highly ranked by sources in the woodworking scene, but my friend who does blacksmithing and custom metal fab uses them as well. I suggest Amazon just because I've seen their rolls of Dura Gold adhesive backed longboard paper which seem to be ranked well.

Norton and 3m are excellent sources (3m especially for 600, 1000, 1500 and 2000). Mirka is very good too.
HF's cheap abrasives are total ****, although I've had reasonable luck with their diamond products, and have done well with a zirconia belt from them.

Klingspor is well known in the woodworking game. Excellent abrasive paper, but I don't know if they make automotive finishing products.
