Hi guys,

I'm a bit in a plumbing tools search...

I need a good PVC pipes / multicouches cutter
and for those who wonder what the %*¨£ is "multicouche" it simply means multilayer pipe, here you go below:

So I was thinking of the cutters below, any input is very welcome. Seems like a racheting one would be the way to go...
My cutting diameters needs would go from 12mm to a possible 40mm PVC pipe. If I could have only ONE cutter to cut all pipes that would be great.

I haven't put VIRAX products since they have been bought by Rothenberger, I'm assuming Virax brand will no longer exist on its own.

PS: not willing to cut copper pipes since I'll stick to the plastic ones.

Here we go...

Knipex

Seems this one only cuts up to 40mm...

I have not done any work with pex-al-pex, but on regular pex, I'm happy with this style:

They also work great on vinyl and rubber hoses, but are useless on PVC pipe.
For PVC, I use a saw.

Something that cuts 40mm is pretty bulky in the hand, and you're going to be working much harder when you make a lot of cuts on 25mm tubing.
