Hi all, found this today at the local thrift. Asking $169. All the drawers work with the exception of the one sticking out. Just needs to be greased up i would think. The drawers have rust on the bottom but all in all pretty decent shape. Says it was from an old cotton mill. Thank that $169 is a good price? I am thinking $75 but i might be way out bounds. I guess it depends on who you find from and how bad they want to get rid of it and how bad you want it.. I just dont run in to too many of these.

thanks!

Depends on in person condition and build style. Those divided, non split drawers can be a bit of a pain to organize. I have one similar, but each level is two drawers that come out of the track. I'd be more around the ~$125 tops range, but again, depending on in person condition, especially of the interior. It looks pretty rough from the pics. :dunno:

Couple years ago I bought a lot 11 of those cabinets on GovDeals. Believe the lot cost me $70. I tried selling the extras I didn't need on craigslist for $25 a piece and got no bites before I scrapped them. I guess my point is deals are out there and their asking price is way high IMO.

The problem is that Pinterest and "Shabby Chic" DIY people are driving the price of all these items through the roof. "vintage industrial" is a culprit as well

I'm at 50 for something like that as well. Heck even at $50 I've passed them up at a couple of sales last year.

They're not that rare around my parts.
