Short answer. $4 is great. I price mine at $6
Long answer depends on a few factors:
- Where are you located?
- is there a primer?
- Is $4 with filling cracks, or are they extra?
- What kind of prep is being done ( shotblast, grind, acid?
- How long in business. Lifetime warranty is worthless. Longevity is what you want - I'm actually skeptical of lifetime warranty.
- What does the warranty actually cover?
- who makes the chemicals, what are the chemical properties ( solid %, UV stable are the big two)
- 25 mil for a full broadcast seems thin. Flake will be the majority of that, what is the chemical thickness when dry.
- Coating stem walls?
- Can you go see some of their jobs they've done, recent, and older. - any company can show stock photography of awesome garages. Proof is in the pudding - whatever that means.
Those are a few questions off the top of my head. The more technical questions you may not know what to listen for -you can find the answers here on GJ. Though you can get a feel for the company on how they answer. If they know the answer, or they have to look into it, or sidestep it altogether.
