What do you tool gurus think of this deal? I know I should be wary of ads without prices but I emailed him and he gave me a price of 600.00 for the lot. It includes the following part numbers: QD1R200, QD2FR75, QD3R250, A2A, GSAF1E, TA360 plus 8 dog bones and 8 crows feet in standard sizes. Retails for about 910.00 on the snap on site not including the dog bones and crows feet.

My apologies if this is in the wrong section.

If he tossed it all in, I would take it and run. But that's me. Also Don't leave a name or number, just drive into the sunset...fast

Thanks for the reply. I got him down to 500.00 with no crows feet. Supposed to meet him tomorrow, hopefully he shows up.

I bought the 3/8 and 1/2 drive TW for about $115 each 4 years ago.
Bought them from the SO rep who handled the automotive votec program tools.

I'm betting those TW are from that same program.

Well, if that's the case I figure I'm coming out about even or maybe a little ahead with the inclusion of the adapters, torque gauge and torque adapters (aka dog bones!)

Crows feet? Dog bones? Are we talking tools here or is that included for the benefit of the warty-nosed, pointy-hatted crowd?

Hey, mine is not to name the tools, mine is but to buy them! :)

Figure 500 to buy the wrenches new, with out ego tax for a relabel and possibly get higher quality too. Figure in buying used, that the wrenches really should get serviced as who knows what has been done with them, @$35 a piece that kills another c-note.

I think $500 is a bit high, I would offer $375. figure $100 1/4", $125 3/8", $150 1/2". I think that would be a reasonable offer for used.

Well this is what I ended up getting. All totaled with the adapters and angle gauge they retail on the Snappy site for about 1200.00 so at 500.00 I'm pretty satisfied I got a fair deal. The torque wrenches appear to be in good shape and dont show any signs of use. Anybody know where I can take these bad boys to make sure they are ok?

Would $100 for a Snap-On QC1R200 1/4" 40-200 inch lbs be fair? I guess the current model is QD1R200. Anything to look out for with these?
