Searching online has shown up some Armstrong socket sets for a good price. There are 15-199 and 15-299, but neither one is listed in their catalog. Are these a special batch made that no longer exist? Do they still have the warranty? I'm waiting to hear back from Armstrong as I sent them an inquiry. What do you think?>

Those are just their standard master sets. Sk makes a similar set. For whatever reason, they seem to go for significantly less than the individual components.

Armstrong came out with those sets a couple of years ago as an ISN special about the time SK was having issues. Integrated Supply Network (ISN) are the people behind independent tool dealers and many online tool vendors. It's a huge warehouse network.
I picked up that 1/4 drive set from Cripe a year or so ago for $55.00. I will tell you that aside from having more sizes and Armstrong stamped on them, they are the same as craftsman sockets down to the double detent retention notches on the female square drive end. The set came with knurled extensions too.
