Good source for individual hex wrenches?

Nothing fancy, just the standard L keys, ball end could be a plus.

I'd like to grab a dozen or so of the smaller sizes 1/16", 1/8", 3/16", etc. that wear out/are more likely to break.

Rule of Thumb: If all else fails go with McMaster-Carr. If they don't have it you don't need it. I'd use Epstein first as this is such a common item they certainly should have it.

MSC have worked well for me. Good choice of makes - Bondhus, Eklind, Wera, usually a Taiwan option fairly cheap.

I actually did the same thing as the OP a few years back. Bought boxes of 100 in 1/16, 3/32 and 1/8 sizes. Definitely the way to go.

Back then MSC stocked a brand called “Brighton Best”. I bought a lot of their stuff, mainly screws. Very reasonably priced, but the hex keys were excellent quality and made in the U.S. I suspected Eklind were the OEM.
