Recession not as bad in Seattle area, as in others ???? Craigs List big box choices are minimal...........I havent liked the models, condition or prices.......

Still excited about pulling the trigger on EXTREME box..........

Sure would like to SEE, TOUCH one........anybody got one in western Wash state ????

Thansk, Chuck

I've got one, and I'm in the Vancouver (WA, not BC) area. I have the 41" chest and upper box. I have not seen anything that compares to it at Costco, Home Depot, Lowes, Harbor Freight, or Sears (except for one Professional Craftsman box, that must be special ordered for big $$$). If you are going to be in the area, you could look at it.

Extreme Tool Box review on Ih8mud.com
Look at post 32 to 35 for my first hand info. I would get it again in a heartbeat, but I would try to be patient, and willing, to refuse a damaged shipment.

Firetruck I did look at your Ih8mud.com site and your review. At the current www.strictlytoolboxes.com web site, there is only less than $200 difference between the 41" and 56" combo's. I dont like the DEEP drawer on the 41" top and would rather have more sq inches of storage from the 56" Top/Botom

I've talked with a very knowledgeable, friendly Shannon at STB.com several times.

Thanks for your offer to drive the 2 1/2 hours down and check out your box. I may do that, when I'm in the mood.

In the mean time I'll just wait, read and listen to all the members here saying..............

I do like the slick powder coat and polished metal "LOOK" of the EXTREME product.
This will be last box I buy, and I want my decision to be correct for ME!!!!!!!!!

regards from seattle, Chuck

Take a look at the Extreme box priced at $4400.00....pretty close to the tool truck guy quality AND price.

There's a recent MATCO 56" on my local CL right now for $1100.00...
