The sun was shining and the lawn had to be mowed. I had been using the riding mower, but the edges needed the push mower, so out of the garden shed, needing the annual oil change and blade sharpening.
The oil drain plug requires a 3/8" extension and ratchet. The blade removal requires two 9/16" wrenches and a 3/4" wrench. As always, using the Snap-Ons, chosen to be perfectly suited for the task at hand, wiping them down, putting them back in place, appreciating where and how I found them, all the years and effort which went into putting together the tools, the boxes, the holders - changes a chore into a small pleasure.
The idle on the riding mower seemed too fast. The long, thin S-O screwdriver was just right to reach in behind the large air cleaner base and bring down the idle - even a lawnmower appreciates good tool kharma.
thnx, jack vines
