I'm having trouble finding any garages on here as small as mine, only found one that was close so far. I was hoping to get some ideas for using what little space I have to my maximum benefit. My garage is 15' 6" x 23' 6" on the inside, big enough easily for one car and some stuff, the problem is I have lots of stuff. Any ideas are greatly appreciated, so here is what I'm working with.....

I would utilize the space by using the height. Like tall shelving and cabinets, keeping the shelves close together.

It seems the use of your space will be determined by what you have to do to fit both cars. Would it make sense to put the smaller car against the other wall and past the man door? The other car would have to pull in at a slight angle. That is pretty much gonna tell you where your stuff has to go.

You could put the T project on dollie wheels and make it easier to move. If storage space is an issue then look up. Anything you do not use could hang from the roof / ceiling.
Would love to hear more about that T project.

Also I hope you do not mind but I moved the photos to make them easier to see on the forum. Great looking place.

The T isn't always in there, it's just the only picture I had of that end of the garage. My plan is to have just one car in at a time, but when I do have 2 in there, I have to put the T where it is in the picture, it is too long to fit from the man door to the outside and my tool box, and anything longer than the T on the right side blocks the kitchen door. It is hard to tell from the pictures, but the cabinets are up fairly high, but I can reach them. The door is 12 feet wide, the garage is 15' 6" wide and 23' 6" long. Part of my problem now is I have so many cabinets up there isn't much room to hang long stuff like brooms and such. And the Comet is a 64, it's my daily driver. Thanks for straightening the pictures out, not sure what I did there.... The T is a play toy, but I do drive it a lot, 5000 miles last summer and 3500 or so this year. I drove it to two different tracks and drag raced it, then drove it home. One track is 600 miles round trip and the other one is 700. Ran a 12.54 @ 105 but that will change since I'm pulling the engine to do some porting on the heads and a cam change. It's just a 302 with 289 heads and an AOD transmission, gets 17 or 18 mpg depending on how I drive it. Thanks for the comments, hopefully I can get some ideas brewing.....

Well, I like the Triumph tank and, if I'm seeing correctly, that's a pretty vintage orange full-face Bell helmet, correct? They used to be headquartered in my neighborhood when I was growing up and I had that exact helmet.

Hi from the uk, I'm new here, this is my first post. I'm completely in awe of your "little garage" I have a drive way out front and a shed out back with no rear access....anything that is in the shed or in the rear garden HAS to come through the house...maybe slightly off topic, but as I have no garage , how about a picture of the side of my shed and my CAR-B-Q?

Rharman, the Vintage Triumph that goes with that tank is on the opposite wall, and yes, the Bell helmet is a 1970 vintage, my friend bought it new and road raced with it back in the day.

Tdkkart, As much as I appreciate the offer, and I'm sure you would be a wonderful host.... I think the T will stay here.:)

Exminiman, I LOVE the Car-b-que! What kind of car was it? I've never seen a grille with grille before. Does the light under the hood still work? Now I have something else to build......

You don't really have a problem. Lots of garages on here are way smaller. Mine is 9'x18'.
You don't really have any storage or organization in there. Use the height you have.

Here's an idea for a major clearing of space...

Remove one vehicle! Place one in storage or add on temporary or permanent storage space. This will free up generous work space.

Look at the other small garages on this site for other ideas.

You could just move that T to my shop, which would solve 1/2 your problem.........

I think it would actually solve 1/3rd of his problem;). But the Comet sent my way would solve 2/3rds of his problem. Nice Garage. As others have said height is your friend. How about building a partial loft to keep rarely used stuff out of the way?

I do love the Car-b-que. Anyway, like I said before, only one car at a time in the garage, mostly looking for ideas for the small stuff I guess. I need to remove some stuff from the loft to make it more useful.

Update on my cabinet situation. I have them all painted and mounted, still trying to find another one for over the air conditioner, and I just made a new bench under the 2 cabinets on the right side wall. That corner is sort of useless, so now it's not and I finally have something I can mount my vise to.

Sorry it is such a mess, I have been working on too many things at once, then i stopped without cleaning up to build the work bench.

A friend of mine did it and I thought the same thing but I used his and it works just fine. I might try to mount the brace thing back on there, but you usually don't really need it. The grinder doesn't know what way it is facing, and all the chips/wire/shavings just launch toward the floor. I had to turn it around and swap sides with the cord and the power switch so that it spins with the front of the wheel going down, or looking at it from the right side it spins counter clockwise. I just finished welding the feet on and making the bench level and mounting a box under the bench to plug the grinder into.
