Goodbye tornado, hello new hose

The new house is almost finished. I have my work cut out for me since I now how to furnish this house and I own very little.
The final touches to the garage won't happen for a little bit as there is not enough time. I've equipped the work bench area with multiple outlets on their own circuit, two 220v outlets and a sink. The ceiling has six jboxes that will receiving fluorescent fixtures. I can't decide if they should run parallel to the car of perpendicular. There are two per bay plus a 7th one over the work bench. 8ft t5 is the likely choice. The entire 750 ft is insulated with an 80k btu heater. I've been reading like a madman about flooring and I can't decide.
Any tips for move in or things I might forget?

Can't help you on the floor. That's gonna be a personal choice. Well, the lights are going to be what you like as well. I have mine perpendicular and like it. Show some pics soon of your new space.

I am leaning towards perpendicular.

personally I prefer perpendicular I've had both and I thought the parallel seemed to have dead spots when working under or besides things but I think that was more of a placement thing and as far as flooring, if you do a lot of heavier or fabricating work its hard to beat sealed concrete, a lot less maintenance than anything else I've seen.
