I have a goodman heat pump/ac unit that also has an emergency heat strip setup, that the fan is constantly running. I replaced the control board because I thought I saw some abnormal discoloration on it but even after the change it continues to constantly run the fan. What should I be looking at now.

IF, you mean the condenser fan then I would guess probably a bad defrost board. You can force a defrost cycle and if the fan still runs then I would bet the board is bad.
If you mean the indoor blower then I would first check for 24v on the green t-stat wire. Thermostat could have a hung up relay. If not then possibly a sequencer is hung.

Yes, sequencer or relay or blower delay board. Whichever type setup you have there is a contact burnt and holding it on/made switch.

I know this is an old thread but did you fix this I have the exact same problem. My evap fan keeps running. Same as before I replaced the Comp relay. The 24 volt coil shorted I replaced that. I can remove the therm and it keep running. Please let us know if you fixed it?

If the evap fan continues to run with tstat unhooked then the relay or switch is hung closed. Might be a small control board with a relay on it.
