Those old "monkey wrenches", "Stillson wrenches", are literally a dime a dozen. Over on the other tool sites, there are guys who collect them and have thousands.

When I come across one in my travels, I check with one of the experts to see if it is rare or valuable, but usually it is about as common as a Crescent adjustable was in it's heyday.

I gotcha......I tend to troll that site looking for a good deal on newer stuff. I thought I would post it up here, because I couldnt remember seeing any threads about it. There are ALWAYS some old tools on there.

There are a couple things there that are interesting - the speeder wrench, an old Craftsman toolbox, a Starrett dial indicator - but the rest isn't much. I see they're trying to sell a $5 Radio Shack multimeter with a starting bid of $10.

I shop at their outlet store. Everything except books, stereo components, large furniture is 49 cents a pound. Bought a delta table saw for $15, 18 files + 1 torque wrench + MAC brake tool for $8, and a TEAC AGV 8520 (perfect condition) for $2.99.

There are latinos that hang out there waiting for them to bring new/old stuff out. It's like a mad rush once they yell out, 'go!' Its funny to see grown men digging into the toy section like cattle to the trough.
