I dont see anywhere he claims it was a Snapon. And i agree with your first thought, it definitely doesnt look like a SO cart. The plastic bits are a pretty big give away.

I think the OP was asking because you can see the adhesive remnants of where a Snap-On badge was taken off of it.

EDIT:
I have been wrong before.....

heres another one.
Now that $250 asking price doesn't look too bad! Could slap a new badge on it and add to the value while using it.

few things raise red flags, Ive never seen snap on handles that bolt on like that, 2 keys, and thats not snap ons mounting system for trays, SO uses "slots and dots" also the second add posted those arent snap on keys and snap on doesnt tape keys inside like that.

aha. so maybe snap on put their badge on them for a year?

Nope.

A lot of shop guys peel off the Blue Point sticker due to coworker pressure of being thought of as "cheap". I still see it all the time.

That means either a de-badged cart or snagging a SO emblem from the driver and slapping it on.

On a mfg floor of over 100 folks including welders and assemblers, you see all sorts of crazy antics. Including the badge thang.

I have a Kobalt stainless roll cab I bought from a co-worker for cheap that took the Kolbalt badge off and tossed it when he bought it new. He was happier just to have the two holes it left.
Another co-worker de-badged his C'man box so I snagged the badge to cover the holes on the Kobalt box when I bought it.

I could never sell it as a C'man box (because it's not), well I guess I could, but I'd be fibbing.

For many its a "nutswinger" thing. Ya just have to roll with it. :)
