Google Maps overlay for garage planning?

I've used sites before that let you define points on a map, and it gives you the area calculations, but are there sites where you can define a dimension (garage dimension) and it will overlay the shape on a map to give you an idea of size on your property?

I have measured from one point to another in my yard such as fence posts or the horseshoe pit and used a google maps screenshot to coordinate the points using paint, but it's a very rough estimate... I will be following this thread as I would love to know a better way...

Sketchup allows you to import Google Map data.

I got a picture from the county auditor and put it in coreldraw to my layout per scale. Let me put in property lines in one color and purposed building with set back a different color so the city zoning board could see on their map where the building was going to be located. Must of worked, got the variance, talked to the other homeowners in the area before the meeting, gave them the same map with all the info on it.
