So my new tool box, as well as my old ones for that matter, didn't have a handle on the top lid. Looking at other tool boxes, this seems to be a pretty rare thing. Not sure why.

So I mounted a handle on it. Opening the lid is now a lot easier, and only takes one hand.

The handle is 10" long, brushed stainless steel. Basically it's a kitchen cabinet handle. :)

Pics: Before, after, after open.

Looks great and I like the idea. I too think a handle on the top lid is a good idea, I might have to add one this weekend.

I got my handle off eBay, here's a link: Linky!

The seller lists the same handle with $10 shipping as well, so make sure it says $3 shipping if you decide to buy one.
