Well i got back from vacation and decided to get to work since its getting nice out. The warm weather is getting me motivated so ive been out working in the barn late at night after work. Got all my garbage dumped and scrap steel scrapped. Its been burried under 3' of snow for the past couple months so it was time to get rid of it. And now i have an old shed that needs to be torn down before the bees wake up. Started cleaning it out this week and got all the old barn boards that were inside out of it. And when it got dark, decided to start covering my walls in it like ive been planning for the past couple years. Its looking good. Have one wall almost done but cant put in the top and bottom pieces until my ceiling is done and the floor is painted. Started on the other wall and compressor room door wall tonight but ran out of nails. Ill get some more pictures of that tomorrow. Hope you guys like it. John

And i hung some signs that i got at Bruce Rossmeyers down in daytona beach. I think they add to the look of the place.

You do realize that you will be shot if you even 'think' about painting those walls.....downside is that they don't reflect much light....but the 'look' out weights the function in this case.....

You might want to consider painting that wood with a clear coat....it will help keep down the dust and preserve the color of the wood....there might be some wood treatments that will bring out that beautiful color even more....

Please keep us posted as you go....I love stuff like this.....

Yeah... no chance of painting these walls. This area is more for finish work and repair on my cars. The other half is going to be the main work area... ill be getting to that soon enough.

But thanks for the compliments. Heres some more pictures from today. Edit... thought i took more, my bad. More to come tomorrow.

Here is my extension cord reel that i spruced up. Old junk for rim with a hub cap i had laying around.
