Nice, love those. Some day I'll probably pick one up for those small jobs or tight areas.

I bought that same impact in a 2-piece kit with a drill a while back. I've used both a few times and really like them. Especially the impact. More power than I expected from a 12 volt tool.

Do yourself a favor and hide the 3/8 adapter, you likely won't need it much. (except for certain special sockets or bit adapters) It's effective power is well within the range of typical 1/4" sockets.

Even better to use the sockets with the built in hex shaft any time you can. They get a little more power that way.

i got the 18v one with a drill 6 mo ago they are awesome but i was warned to only use the "impact" bits for it not just reg screwdriver bits because if they break off just right in there you can't get them out luckily i got some pretty heavy duty apex bits. you will love that little guy. my wife came down stairs when i first got it and said what the hell was that noise and i just smiled and let her use it once she liked it a lot.

I have the M12 hex driver, but not the impact yet. I can't wait to get it. Unfortunately I think I just lost my M12 flashlight. I really liked that light, but I think I left it stuck to my bumper before I headed to work. It didn't make the trip. :-(

i have the m12 hex driver too, i think it rocks. i have 2 other 12 volt impact drivers and i think they are awsome. i usually keep a 3/8" adapter in them great for removing fenders hoods and trunks, i like it for initial engien assembly. im going to pick up the m12 impact. they also have the larger extended battery available. i picked up the radio and use the m12 battery to run it.

If you don't plan on buying more Milwaukee m12 tools the Bosch ps41 model is more powerful. I kept the milwaukee only because I they have a more extensive line of tools.

I broke down and order the M12 impact from CPO Outlet this morning. Impact, (2) batteries, charger, case, and flashlight for $119. I couldn't pass it up.

Is anybody ordering the heated jacket? Milwaukee has a nice line of tools for the M12, I have the Bosch and Ridgid versions but I was on the fence, then the jacket came out, I wish I had went the M12 direction.

I'm tentatively planning on picking up the jacket next fall. I think it will work great for the cold bike rides into work during the winter. I'm hoping to see a lot of reviews on it between now and then to figure out if it is worthwhile.

I would say no the 3/8 milwaukee impact is not more powerful than the Bosch. And you sure got a lot of batteries.

I have both the bosch and milwaukee and I like the milwaukee is best. They are even on power but the XC batteries and the number of tools offered in the M12 line makes it an easy decision. I haven't even used the Bosch since I got the Milwaukee

The Bosch PS41 has 930 in.lbs of torque

The Milwaukee 2451 3/8" impact has 1,000 in.lbs., I realize that this may no be a lot more, but how have you determined the Bosch has more than the Milwaukee? My brother has the PS41 and IMO its weaker, but that is also using a 1/4"hex to 3/8" adapter too.

As to batteries, I like to be able to use them all if needed, on a few projects I've had all of them and even a few of my Makita impacts running when we were throwing up or taking down Santa's castle, the gingerbread house (12' x 12' x 14' high), so multiple guys working, multiple batteries make it possible.

By torquing in lug nuts incrementally and see what is the limit of the guns ability to remove them. The Bosch is more powerful (yes I am using an adapter with it also). If you are going by the number that the Milwaukee gives you, then the Milwaukee M18 high torque impact would be the most powerful torque gun by far at 450 ft lbs. In reality it is generally accepted that is not as powerful as Snap On's meager 400 ft lbs of torque.

On you torquing lug nuts, did you use the Milwaukee M12 side by side to the Bosch?

As to most powerful go with the Snap On and call it a day but we were discussing 12 volt units and not the whole market.

How is the battery life on those?

I have the Cordless Screwdriver 2401-22. I am in construction and we use wood for footing forms. This driver goes all day on one charge making forms. I also recently bought one of the M18 drills as well.

I love the 3/8 impact for removing lug nut center caps on chevy trucks and stuff like that. Battery terminals and hold downs, windshield wipers, under carriage covers, etc. Saves a lot of time when your working flag rate and it is lighter than a makita.

I really like that dremel, i might pick one up soon.
