Ever since i discovered Zoro i have been ordering tools left and right. Mainly Proto with the occasional SK or Blackhawk. I believe it is easiest sight to use when ordering tools.

Last night i ordered the Proto 10 piece hex bit sockets in standard and metric, (the full length set with the blow molded cases) as well as the 1/4 Pearhead ratchet.

I am knocking out my work tool list pretty quickly thanks to them.

They've become my first stop for a price check- with their almost continual 20% off sales. Good price on Williams tools if you're willing to wait. I just bought their big set of USA 1/2" impacts for 190.00

On some items, Zoro's price beat everywhere else, and that was before the 20%. YMMV. Offhand, I can think of a Proto 3/4 hex bit socket in 1/2 drive, Proto 5250XL 3/8 ratchet, and a Mayhew die separating bar I've sourced from them. No complaints here.

Just checked some prices today. On Klein pliers ToolUp was cheaper by a couple dollars per pair.

But a couple months ago I scored an awsome Proto 24" 1/2" drive breaker bar for very reasonable.

They ship quick also.

Guess one always has to shop around.

Reasonable prices, especially with discounts, and dependable shipping. That's made me a customer. If you search around, you can often find a little bit cheaper. And take a chance on it working out or not. You can buy it cheaper, it's just hard to have it reliably get to you after you get it bought online. I've just taken to ordering from Zoro for most things, I usually wait for a code for 20 or 25% off which I get quite often. I use McMaster-Carr the same way to reliably get things I need. Excellent selection and quality, reasonable prices, and impeccable service. Worth paying a bit more for.

I used to use Grainger the same way, if you had an account it put the price down to a more reasonable level. Now I just use Zoro instead.

When picking through Ebay listings and posting items in the "Ebay hot deal" thread, I will sometimes check prices from other online retailers, particularly on high-ticket items (most of which lately have been Proto wrench sets and socket sets.)
Zoro.com is consistently the lowest price vendor. Amazon and ToolUP are usually close seconds.
Curiously, over the last few months, I have seen many Proto items listed on Ebay for significantly less than Zoro's prices. I have no clue what dynamic is in play there. Sometimes I wonder if the stuff is hot or counterfeit.
If it's a new socket set or wrench set, it's worth checking prices from more than one source. If it's Proto, don't exclude Ebay from your search.

This is true! I recently priced a 3/8 dr metric impact bit socket set and found the best price on eBay ,new .price was $25 . Zoro was $57.
Both were new.

Zoro is great. Fast shipping and customer service is phenomenal. I’ve had two proto wrench sets (ordered 2 years apart) that showed up missing an individual wrench. All it took was a 5 minute phone call and a new one was on it’s was within a day.

I still use Grainger frequently too, because some things that are more obscure, they can often have to the nearest location by 930 am the next day, plus a ton of stuff in stock at any of the 5 or 6 locations within 30 miles of me, for when I need a tool or hardware right this second...

I've never used Zoro but I am about to. I am up on HF coupons but not sure how to get the best prices at Zoro. Any advice? Thanks.

As others have said, just sign up and get 15% off of your first order. They'll keep "spamming" your inbox with more deals... :lol_hitti
