Went to Harbor Freight today (2 hours away) to buy the 44" tool chest that is so popular. Well, I later discovered they had loaded the 56" tool chest by mistake! (was still in crate and I didn't inspect it when it was loaded) I called to tell them what happened and they told me to keep it since I lived so far away and couldn't easily bring it back. Seems like a great box and the extra room will come in handy.

that was nice of them.. I don't really love either of those boxes but I like the smaller one better than the big one. Still a crazy good bux for the money, espc when you get thhe 56" for the price of the 44!!

That's awesome! Good on you too for calling them and letting them know about the mistake.

I had something similar happen when I bought my 26" stack. I thought that it was odd that the 26" combo came in 1 box (it comes in 2). The first box that we loaded onto my trailer was a bit large, but I didn't think about it until I went to strap it down. It turns out that they loaded a 44" box instead. I went back inside and found the stock guy that brought it out and told him. I didn't want him to get in trouble for letting the wrong box go out the door. I figured I'd let him tell his boss if he wanted to.

Which style drawer do you prefer, detents or latch?

Latches. Maybe it's my 44" only but I move it a lot and I have to lock it now. Otherwise the drawers open and bang into things. At least the 56" has latches. I would prefer a grip latch system, but for the price I am content

Maybe I can order another 44" and get a 72" by mistake????
