With the clearance HD was running on power tools, I was able to get me a really nice miter saw. I picked up this for $299

This is probably more saw than I need 90% of the time and I had originally just planned to pick up a 10" Hitachi single bevel. However, for about $130 more I could really have a top of the line saw that should be able to cut anything I ever need.
I haven't cut alot with it yet but just my initial impression is that its one heck of a saw. Its a little heavy to be moving around alot but they did a pretty good job with putting handles in the right places. I really like how solid it feels.
Any suggestions on the best setup for a miter saw bench. Future projects include some crown, maybe a shed or garage, and a deck in the distant future.
