Oh, Wrenchr, is that a swivel head 3/8" PAR-X or Bluepoint, on the bottom left? Never seen one before! Looks cool, there is something appealing about the shape of these ratchets!
Oops, is that a Canadian Gray model? That Snapon torque angle gage looks interesting, too; could you take some pics of that thing?

How does the grip feel compared to the SO soft grips?
They feel great, I would say better because there is less rubber in the handle and more hard plastic. Compared to snappy soft grip.
I was saying earlier in the week that I have to many ratchets well this is proof I guess.
I now have 2 drawers holding 3/8 and 1/2 ratchets
I have another small drawer hold my 1/4 stuff.
I think it's time for an intervention.
What say the brethren?

That Mac set is nice. I missed the gear wrenches for a few moments due to looking at them.
Wrenchr do those handles feel a bit small to you? My spark plug model's seem to be just slightly bigger then a Snap on chrome. I was hoping for a little more bulk to it.

Nice collection of ratchets, but the one I would like to have is the flex head Gray. I would like to repatriate it to Canadian soil when and if you wish to sell. Is that one of the new sealed head ratchets closest to the Gearwrench box?

In America, the 1st Amendment entitles everyone to their opinion, I'm sorry things are different for you in China.
Canada makes some fine products. My old 1994 Crown Victoria was the best car I've owned!

Supporting Canada doesn't directly support the US economy. They may have good tools, but Gearwrench tools are good as well even if you don't want to admit it. Neither directly support the US economy, but both support it indirectly. Also, Danaher is US based, am I correct? So the profits are returning to the US. When you buy an American car many of the parts are made in Mexico and Canada. However, we know that the profit from the sale is returning to our country, which is good. Toyotas are built in Kentucky, so we are supporting the US economy by providing jobs in these factories. However, the profits support foreigners. So, which do you want?

Listen, this is the problem people are having with you: you rant and rave and complain and badmouth, with absolutely no indication that you've ever tried Gearwrench tools. You are of course entitled to your opinions, but people here have an appreciation for Gearwrench tools and don't like newcomers to mouth off their baseless opinions where they're not welcome.
There's a time and a place for your arguments, yet you throw them about in just about every thread you can.
Also bear in mind that many, if not most of us, also share your opinion that many imported tools are absolute ****. It's just that from our firsthand experiences, we have determined that Gearwrench products are often excluded from this category and deserve separate distinction.
Get over your unbased biases, or you're going to find hostility at every corner of the forum. If you legitimately dislike Gearwrench products, that's fine, but tell us why, and then maintain some level of civility. We don't want to hear your whinings at every corner of the forum. If that's what you're here for, attempting to invoke frustration, hostility, and an uproar, then I feel very very sad for you and the state of your life that you've got nothing better to do.
I participate in many forums, and have contributed to thousands of disucssions over the past four years or so. I've encountered every sort of troll that one could imagine. Never have I had to add someone to an "ignore list. You sir, will quite possibly be the first.

Yes Dex that is the new sealed Gray ratchet!! I would consider trading for the flexhead. Shoot me an offer!! As to it being sealed I do not get it!! There are no seals at all in mine.

I've used their ratcheting box end combination wrenches... I'm pretty sure they are the original manufacturer of them and I give them credit.

We don't have a problem with you being a newcomer, we have a problem with your ignorance. Just because a product is made overseas to you doesn't at all mean it's ****. I've yet to heard a bad word about a GearWrench product, only good testimonials.
As for them "trying to pass them off as something original" I don't think so, some of their products are made under licence from Snap-on and..

My argument is very simple, and this is my last response on this thread... why buy something foreign made, when there are domestic made products just as good or better. Look what happened to the American electronics industry. It's GONE. Do you want that to happen to the American tool industry?
Also: Buy American (and Canadian) cars!

What ***** for me is they're hard to find over here, aside from rebranded Wrenches.

In some cases, American made tools are cost-prohibitive as the tools come with a huge service premium aimed at professionals.
American cars? You mean the Toyotas made in the US, or the Fords made in Mexico?
As for the electronics industry, you keep up with the program, or you get left behind in the dust.
As I said, many of us are very pro-American tools, but it's hard to be absolute these days. And again, there's a time and a place for these arguments - they really do happen often enough here. But this thread is supposed to be about Wrenchr and his new acquisitions.
