That looks great. I really need a garage again that could hold one of those.

Are you ever going to put a car on it?

Um...wow. Nice!

Looks like OCG rubbed off on ya a little!

...and I'm partial to those cabinets...hehe

Is that a Wilton? Stainless top?

How did they get that thing out of the truck??!

Nice setup. Who was the installer? I see you in MA, maybe they'll make a trip down to CT. What are you lifting? wondering if the System 1 has a low enough pad height for my car.

Actually I first saw the Lista cabinets in your install. I didn't realise they made anything anymore in MA. I'm really happy with them.

The installer of the lift designed/fabricated the mechanism in the truck. It uses a hydraulic ram to set the posts upright. Yes OCG did rub off. I was originally going for a bendpak but after I saw these in the flesh it was an easy decision.

Yes, it's a wilton machinists vise and stainless tops.

I truly don’t need more encouragement on new ideas. But I have implemented a number of great ideas that have originated from this sight. So just maybe FFPL took Bwmpower’s garage build ideas of metal halide lighting along with those beautiful blue Lista cabinets and stainless steel tops. The price difference of a Mohawk Lift is hard to swallow. But using or even seeing one for comparison sure helps overcome the sticker shock... And is far better than any sales pitch.

Nice garage, can’t wait to see when it’ fully operational. Oh,, good to see that you have several fire extinguishers mounted.

It might have made my life easier if I found this site before I started the build but the garage is turning out exactly as I wanted it. The Metal halides I installed before I knew this site existed. Actually I found this site when I was looking for a floor.

The Mohawk is expensive and the Lista cabinets more so. I've already forgotten the price anyway so its not important anymore.

I've got 2 cars needing restoration so this is going to be a nice place to work.

Same here... I would do it again, too. The only thing that would be hard to swallow would be the huge increase in price (thanks to steel) since I bought mine.

I added to an existing garage. Old area is 25x23. New area is 45x28. So the length is 70 feet from end to end. Ceiling height is just over 13.5. I have insulated attic of 45x14 which is where I'm storing panels/parts etc.

Lovely! Do they make it in blue? Like the cabinets too. Mine come in about 4 weeks. I ordered one roller cab also, even spec'd the stainless top. Can't wait.
You will be happy with the lista cabinets. They are really nicely made.

The roller cabinet was constructed of 2 base cabinets with a 72 inch top. It's heavy but rolls nicely on the 6 inch wheels.

The main bench has a 96 inch top and a nexus frame. Not sure if you can make it out but it has 2 pegboards, and a marker board and a document swivel arm. All of the overhead cabinets have lights underneath. The middle cabinet is currently holding books/manuals. You can get lots of things that connect to the nexus frame.

The large storage cabinet is two stacked cabinets. The lower one has roll out trays and the upper with adjustable shelves.

I will look into those nexus things. White board against the back wall is a good idea I already use one daily to supplement my receding short term memory. I also ordered the sliding shelves on the lower two cabinets although it hadn't occurred to me to store children there.
I'll post photos on my gallery thread when the cabinets arrive.
