So yesterday was christmas for me because I got my GPR exhaust for my triumph but more important finally got my Extreme 56" toolchest.

I had ordered this back around 4-5 months ago and since we didn't move in the house until recent (plus had to get the epoxy floor down first) Shannon and Joe at strictlytoolboxes were great in holding this for me. I'm very very very happy that I waited and pulled the trigger when I did because I got 1 of 3 in this color..., rather than the blue that I was first going to get, even though I hate blue... (and didnt' want to spend this much money on a black plain tool chest) lol

Needless to say I'm so happy! HUGE upgrade from my little craftsman box that didn't have enough room for all my tools now that I keep getting from here...lol

Since it was removed off the palet from the shipping company it was going to be a real treat putting the casters on, since my wife weighs 110lbs this was going to be worthless to even ask her..lol

I couldn't be more happy. I actually thought the drawers were going to have supports in the centers like I read but the nice thing is my drawers are not obstructed in any way by middle supports that are inside the drawers..etc.

LOVE THIS THING!.. I can only imagine what a $5000+ toolchest is like being that for the price this was I am blown away!

Nice chest and sharp color. Mind me asking how much this cost? The value there just blows me away.

I believe I paid $2025 or something right around that because of the $30 fee for the liftgate... but the funny thing is the dude that unloaded this didn't even USE the liftgate..lol

He was using straps and had the damn thing up vertical.. I thought for sure it would be damage honestly. And since this was the last yellow there was zero chance of getting yellow again, it would have been either blue or black. To my surprize both the driver and I looked over everything pretty closely for 10 miinutes and didn't find a scratch or dent, ding..etc. anywhere!

The only thing that I have noticed is that I kept the black piece on the bottom tool chest on the surface so when I went to put the top chest on so it wouldn't scratch it, the latches in the back don't line up to secure it but I've been told this is if you have a child and have a drawer extended so it doesn't fall on them.. Since we have no plans to have kids and I don't forsee hanging from a drawer, was told it was perfectly fine. Plus I like the little black part that seperates the two honestly...

But overall very freaking happy!!

How deep is this chest?

Here are the dimensions.

•Dimensions: 56"W x 20"D x 62"H

I like that it's 20"D honestly.. most people say that's not deep enough but for my garage anything deeper and I would not be able to fully extend the drawer with a vehicle in the garage... Once I get a detached garage then I will not worry about that feature but until then this is honestly perfect for my size and demensions that I need!

I'm 6'2" so I have no issues with the height of the chest to get to the top drawers.. it could honestly be a little higher...lol

I like the config with many shallow drawers. Some boxes have too many 5" deep drawers.

hey man, that is a nice looking box you got there! And for the price, seriously, some great value. Someday I'd LOVE to get a box like that to go in a garage that is yet to be build. Floor looks nice too!
A fine place to tinker I'd imagine.
Cheers.

Very nice box. Congrats. That model is at the top of my list at the moment to. Hoping to check one out in person soon. Now if only I could convince them to do a dark red/maroon color :)
