My Grandpa’s old box is full of -V- Craftsman sockets and wrenches. No oilers on the 3/8 & 1/2” ratchets. Must be from the mid 70’s? These havent been used in probably 35 years. Not Snap On quality but still pretty cool. I dig the knurled Metric sockets.

Very cool inheriting a set like that. It's way more valuable and nice to have. It will mean a lot every time you walk into the shop, when you look at it, when opening a drawer and using a tool.

I'm digging the old curved handle adjustable wrench.

There is something magical about having your grandfather's tools, especially if you ever used them with him.
I have a ShopSmith that used to belong to my wife's father. I'm merely the caretaker of it until my son is old enough to use it and have a place for it. I sure hope he wants it.
