Got some new big sockets

Found this 16pc Kobalt set from cripe for $82 plus shipping. Also bought an 8" extension. All 3/4" sized and all made in the USA. Used my 10% coupon (code is "WINTER2012"). I think it's a pretty good deal for some USA made sockets.

Always good when the UPS man brings something from Cripe.

That's perfect. I took advantage of the Craftsman deal earlier in the year to fill up on Metrics.

Ya almost all fasteners that large are sae and to be honest everything over 19mm standard fits close enough nice deal man

I bought this same set when there was like 6 sets left and got them last week there really nice, I did notice some of the stamping is better in some then other and some are polished differently but cant complain for the price. Do you know if these are from the danahar or williams factory. I bought some 3/8 kobalt impact sets made by williams and there stamped the same but they match almost exactly to my coworkers craftsman. I also bought a 1 9/16 Allen brand socket with them that didn't come in the set and it matches perfect! Awesome deal all USA!

Dang it. You made me go order the 1 9/16" allen socket. The Cripe set misses a 1-5/16" and a 1-1/2". I happen to have a Craftsman version of the 1-5/16". I have 1-1/2" in 1/2" drive but will probably use some of my sears gift card to get a 3/4" version.

Nice, I wish I was a GJ'er back then I would have gone wild.

Also to the other comment I really don't come across too many large fasteners the biggest I have done was 32mm and my 1/2" took care of that.

That may change when I decide to get a truck, but possibly not.

I've had these on my wishlist on Ebay for a couple of months now, but was waiting on the funds to pull the trigger. Lit a fire under my *** since you posted this, and I didn't want them to sell out from GJ members buying them up .
Was originally just picking up this set and the 19" long 3/4" drive Gearwrench breaker bar, but thanks to this thread I used the coupon code you posted on their site, and added the Allen 1 9/16" (Luckily I already have the 1 5/16" & 1 1/2" in Williams), and a couple of 3/8" drive Kobalt USA impact extensions, and the total came out to $4 more than my original order would have cost through their Ebay store.

I bought a bag a couple of weeks back with a snap on deep 1 &1/16" 1/2 inch drive, same size new brittain, and about 4 3/4" drive deep impact sockets(taiwan I think) for 9 dollars. Now I just have to get something 3/4 inch to drive them.
