The only BMW part which (I'm aware of) uses a triple square is the turbine/throwing star covers for the E34 M5.
Heh, I wish I had a set of those! One day...!

Of course, one day I will also start and finish my project and get it on the road... priorities! lol :bounce:

I have a set with both covers and I cannot wait to get them on my e30 (soon to be s52 swapped). They're my all time favorite OEM wheel. What's your project? Maybe PM me so we don't derail this thread further haha.

The oil dipstick tube on my old 90 Pontiac Sunbird was held on with a triple square bolt.

I think that was probably the ohc 1.8 or 2.0 and it was an Opel designed engine built in Brazil. A lot of euro stuff is made in Brazil.
