Now I can sleep at night and not lay awake wondering if the temperature is high enough to paint at 2am...

Man that looks good! Definitely something different than the blue I see everyday (when I get out of my car).

I wish I was more adventurous when it comes to color!

Nice Job, USMCBay

Great colors and looks like you won't see the marks on the lower sections of the walls that easy. But, the traffic light is excellent! Does it work?

The Light does work... I'm going to wire it into a Title Deluxe Gym Timer for working the bags. The timer has 120v bulbs so I can hard wire it directly to the Traffic light. So the Garage should light up Green for 2 - 3min of working the bags, 30sec yellow warning, and Red for a 1min break.

What did you use to make sure your stripe was level? Did you measure from the floor all the way around or did you use a laser-level?

It looks great whatever method you used. I hope ill have the patience to paint something like that in my garage.

I used the bottom of the Sheetrock to measure - my garage has a slight slope for drainage (?) or whatever reason...

When you pull your tape be sure to pull long runs to keep it straight - if you pat it down to the wall as you go it will not be straight. I pulled about 15' and patted it once then the remainder of the wall and patted down the end. If you can pull the full length without sag... even better! THEN... go back and rub it to the wall very good. Any piece of tape not full compressed down WILL get paint under it and will be less than a precise line.

Good luck and post photos before, during, and after~!!!!

What brand of motorcycle lift do you have? How do you like it?

I gotta say I can complain with the best of them over quality (just ask my wife) and I have to say I have no complaints at this time... However, I did put the wheel chock on there from HF and I love it more... I ride in - step off - then tie it down for the kiddos safety (safety first ya' know!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

I got it at Harbor Freight with a coupon for $200+ and I love it. I use a 2" x 2" at the rear wheels from rolling forward when I "mount it" but I really need to put some anchor bolts in and tie it down to eliminate sliding when "ramping up".

Well too many beers and too many quotes so I'll sign off for now...
