Got this bench vice from my grandfather

I got this vice from my grandfather and I can't find a name on it and I was really surprised how it works... this vice you move the handle to 12 o'clock side it in or out depending on the piece you are working on...then turn the handle clockwise to 6 o'clock and the piece is locked in the vice...this vice is large and very heavy.... any ideas of the manufacturer ...

MASSEY most likely. can you post up a few more pictures? i have on i need to DE RUST that looks a bit similar. it's a KEEPER and most likely late 1800's or very early 1900's.

Looks like drives is right on the Massey call.
Very interesting historical vise you have there.
Like I already said; please repost in the main vise thread to get more input.

That one has this marking...

I bet that drives vise is the same and will be readable once he gets the rust off.
